What is Laminate?

Laminate is manufactured using a multiple layer structure. Decorative melamine resin impregnated paper, one or more phenolic resin impregnated kraft core papers and a specially developed balancer paper on the reverse are pressed together under high pressure and heat to create the laminate.

Laminate Applications

Laminate has excellent machining properties, high abrasion, impact and scratch resistance, high wear resistance, moisture and water resistance.

With such versatile characteristics, laminate is suitable for a wide choice of applications, including worksurfaces, wall panelling, display units, furniture and toilet cubicles.
