Established in 1897 as an Austrian family company, Kronospan is the world’s largest wood-based panel manufacturer.

Kronospan manufacture wood-based panels at more than 40 sites worldwide, employing over 14,000 people.

Kronospan have pioneered many of our industry's key advances and continue to lead product development and innovation. Their products have a wide application across the flooring, furniture and refurbishment industries.

Kronospan manufacture melamine-faced panels [MF-C or MF-MDF] for a wide range of applications, including kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and office furniture, in a variety of fashionable designs and textures.

Matching laminates and edge bands are offered to customers to complement the range and enhance the finished product.

Kronospan also produce speciality and decorative papers as well as other associated products, such as melamine-faced panels, worktops, wall panels, window sills, lacquered HDF, compact boards, high pressure laminates (HPL) and others.

Environment

Kronospan strive to achieve the lowest possible environmental impact by:

- Ensuring the lowest possible environmental impact to soil, water and air
- Promoting maximum recycling as well as accelerating recycling of wood residue from other producers
- Handling, using, storing and destroying chemicals in safe, healthy and environmentally friendly ways

Kronospan ensure that suppliers do not use wood from national parks, natural preserves, virgin forests and other conservation areas. All of their products are FSC® and PEFC certified.
